Alishan and Pingtung Counties:

This itinerary begins with a stop at the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines to learn about the culture and traditions of Taiwan’s indigenous peoples before heading out to the indigenous areas. This will be followed by visits to several Tsou villages in the Greater Alishan area, as well as to Paiwan and Rukai villages in Pingtung County.

Hualien and Taitung:

This itinerary begins with a stop at the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines to learn about the culture and traditions of Taiwan’s indigenous peoples before heading out to the indigenous areas. This tour will explore both the mountain route (Hualien-Taitung Rift Valley) and the coastal route (along Taiwan’s spectacular East Coast) between Hualien and Taitung.
